How I Work

There is no doubt in my mind that working with a REALTOR® is a far better option than trying to sell or buy a property on your own.   The purchase or sale of a home is a significant undertaking and employing the services of a competent professional to advise, handle the details, and guide you through the process is absolutely critical.

Real estate fees (commissions) represent a significant amount of money.  The motivation of a seller or buyer to ‘go it alone’ may be driven by the thought of eliminating the real estate fees.  Abandoning representation to possibly save money may work for some.  It’s no different, I suppose, than someone who chooses to do their own renovation, take on the role of contractor in the construction of a new house, service their own vehicle or invest their own money.  You need to balance the potential savings against the ‘cost’ (time, potential errors, inefficiency, etc…) of your own efforts.  My take on real estate fees is that they must reasonable and appropriate.

Above and beyond guiding you through and managing the processes described earlier in this package, I also deliver the following:

  • Representation – I owe you a duty of care that includes disclosure, competence, obedience, accounting, confidentiality and loyalty
  • Protecting your interests at all times
  • Fully explaining the process all forms and what you should expect
  • Explaining all of the details and any challenges, then handling them
  • Providing regular updates and keeping you informed of changes in the marketplace that directly affect our activities (buyers or sellers)
  • Screening and pre-qualifying prospective buyers before they come to see your home and providing regular feedback from their visits as well as those conducted by other REALTORS® (sellers)
  • Negotiating as directed by you
  • Advising you in all your decisions relating to the sale or purchase

I have a strong business background.  I run my real estate practice like a business and in a professional manner.  I also have outstanding support behind me at Royal LePage State Realty with an experienced broker and experienced full-time support staff.

Easy Exit Contract

Having a contract for services in place is important.  However, if you are not completely satisfied with my service, we will simply cancel our contract.
